Vegan Guests:
At the pizza evening, please speak directly to the chefs to request your vegan pizza. You’ll receive a full pizza prepared especially for you.

We recommend guests have lunch before arriving at the venue. The wedding party (groomsmen and bridesmaids) will be provided lunch as they’ll be helping us get ready. For everyone else, Stellenbosch has some lovely cafés just a short Uber away.

Please note: we kindly ask that no photos or mobile phones are used during the ceremony. We’d love everyone to be fully present with us, and our photographer and videographer will capture everything for you to enjoy later. After the ceremony, you’re welcome to take as many photos and videos as you like!

Vegan Guests:
Our chefs will be preparing a special selection of vegan canapés. During the canapé service, please ask the waiting staff to request your plate directly from the chefs. The waiting staff will bring you a side plate with your vegan selection prepared especially for you. These canapés will not be served alongside the main selection to ensure they’re reserved just for you.

The same applies to the vegan desserts, which will be served as a plated option. Please request these from any waiting staff on the evening.

  Note: If you are not able to make it to the wedding venue or The Salene, you are welcome to take an Uber directly to the restaurant and we will meet you there.
  Guests staying at The Salene, please wait in the hotel lobby at 17:35 as the transfer will first collect from the wedding venue.
• 18:00 – Group dinner at Cucina di Giovanni at Eikendal 🍽️ Table booked for 39.

• 21:00 – Drinks in Stellenbosch (Guests wishing to return to the wedding venue can request this. The driver will go to the venue first, then continue into Stellenbosch, so you can decide how you feel on the day!)

Franschhoek Wine Tram:
Some of you have shown interest in the Franschhoek Wine Tram on this day. While Joely and I won’t be hopping on, we can wholeheartedly recommend it! Just make sure you’re back at the venue in time for the 17:30 transfer to Cucina di Giovanni at Eikendal so we can all roll out together. Cheers! 🍷

If you’d like to experience the wine tram, we’d recommend the Navy Line, which can be booked here. You should book in advance as it gets very busy!

• 10:00 – Depart for Aquila Game Reserve 🐘 (for those joining the safari adventure)
• Guests who have booked the transfer will depart from Brenaissance Wine & Stud Estate at 10:00am. Please be waiting in reception by 9:45am. Once everyone is on board, the driver will stop to collect guests staying at The Salene before continuing the journey to Aquila Game Reserve.

Luggage Allowance:

• For those sharing the shuttle to and from Aquila, the luggage allowance per person is 1x large suitcase and 1x carry-on. The trailer included can accommodate up to 21 large suitcases and 21 carry-on bags.

      For those who have booked a transfer, please meet in Aquila’s reception by 9:45am. The driver will drop you off at your respective accommodation in Cape Town.
